CUAREPOTI is one of the two divisions of Hardtech Inc SRL:
HARDTECH: Industrial services. Prefabrication and assembly of metal structures and piping.
CUAREPOTI: Manufacturing of products for wear protection, hardfacing, and surface engineering.
CUAREPOTI was acquired in June 1992 in the city of Casilda (2170), Santa Fe.
The company was originally founded in 1945, during a time when the post-war period demanded products for wear protection of parts exposed to abrasion in agriculture and other industries. However, due to the frequent economic crises in our country, the company was virtually bankrupt. After a period of restructuring and consolidation, a steady growth process began.
Its main activity is the design, manufacturing, and marketing of electrodes, tubular rods, and alloy powders for coating surfaces subject to abrasion, erosion, impact, and metal-to-metal friction—tripling the service life of the protected parts.
It also offers tubular wires for the same purpose, as well as calcium carbide for the production of acetylene used in oxy-fuel welding.
In some product categories, we are market leaders, competing not only with local manufacturers but also with multinational companies and imported products.
Since 1998, we have been steadily exporting to Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, and the United States.
In 2006, as a result of the company’s growth, a 15,000 m² plot was acquired in the Comirsa Industrial Park, Ramallo (2915), Buenos Aires. Due to the characteristics of the area and its market potential, an Astori warehouse was built with a 15-ton overhead crane, with these new facilities designated for the HARDTECH division.
In 2009, a new 600 m² plant was built on the same site, equipped with a self-manufactured 2-ton overhead crane, for CUAREPOTI operations. The factory was relocated from Casilda, Santa Fe, enabling the company to begin a new stage of growth and product diversification.
Over the years, the facilities continued to expand and improve, now reaching over 4,200 m² of covered space, equipped with overhead cranes, state-of-the-art machinery, and highly trained personnel—positioning us as a strategic partner in the supply of products tailored to the needs of each industry.
